Action Bio...
As we visited the recruitment sites and researched the elements that contribute to the popularity of them. We discovered that poverty and anonymity keep these communities vulnerable to predators, even in America. We learned parents or grandparents struggling to provide will have children complete their school career about 5th or 6th grade and start working to provide for the family. Many will choose to send them, with a recruiter, to work in the city not knowing that once there the young girls are forced to service men. And many willing employ their's and other community children in these "services".

What We Do

PREVENT
 - To combat this, we have moved into communities to be a presence, quietly serving and providing alternatives to sending children away. Since January 2011 we have been able to open 6 homes in 4 locations. The homes consist of two loving, Christian parents and equally loving staff and counselors. There at the homes they are allowed to grow, learn, play, and discover who they are. The children are fully cared for; from clothing to toiletries, from three meals a day to an education.
We are currently caring for over 150 children and young people. It costs approximately $100. USD to underwrite 1 child.

RESCUE - We are praying and actively learning how to best infiltrate the underground world of clubs, karaoke bars, brothels, and store fronts that are knowingly and unknowingly facilitators of trafficking.  Become an Abolitionist by joining a Task Force and then rally others to join you in the fight against trafficking!

RESTORE
-Within the next two years, we are striving to open Homes of Restoration in the Philippines, Thailand, and the United States. These homes will be anonymously located for the individuals safety and lifestyle protection. The homes will house several recovering from slavery, abuse, exploitation, and forced prostitution. They will live with mentors, counselors, professionals, and encouragers. The staff will serve the recovering to heal, overcome the past, build new skill-sets, learn about business, and assist to set them up for successful futures.
We also understand how redeemed souls from such horrific abuse and darkness will desire to reciprocate the great gift of freedom. So, we are prepared both for restoring over-comers successfully back into community and equipping them to become active RescueRs as well. We know this will take time, skill, preparation, security, and  regenerative protocols. This stage requires well educated and trained staff to support and facilitate growth in a Christ-centered environment. Implementing  this takes resources: people, training, planning, protocols, housing, and money.

Rescue1 is currently engaged in this restorative process in Asia and right here in the US. We are so thankful for our partnership with The Well House, their knowledge and experience in this aspect of survivor recovery is extremely beneficial to the RescueD1.
