They have a story
and we are telling it

Upon arriving in "CK", Thailand, we found sincere, hard working believers struggling to cut out a future
for themselveand caring for as many marginalized children as possible. Due to insufficient funds one of the children’s home was closed, one was in a crisis about to close, and two were struggling on the verge of crisis.  Yet, according to the Lord’s will and provision we were able to assist in recovery efforts. Currently, all the homes are secure and the leaders are dreaming again, the children are living in Christian-family environmenand many have called upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and have been saved!

Here are some reports and testimonies from Chalong and Inkhian.

Chalong says, "On Sunday night Aug. 21 many of the boys said they wanted to accept Jesus but I suggested that those who really wanted to accept the Lord come and see me individually. So we could talk and make sure they know what they are doing. Two nights later Prasit, age 14, came to see me and said that he wants to follow Christ. So, he prayed and asked Jesus to forgive his sins and come into his heart. After that Pong, age 12, came to me saying he wanted to receive the Lord. He too called upon the name of Christ. Please pray for these two boys that they may grow in Christ and tell others."

Inkhian reports, "Thank God for leading us to serve the Lord through the ministry of the Dormitories of
CYDC. This year there are 55 students. The families of all of these have problems such as: 1. The parents are poor, live far from the town where there is not a school or the parents have separated and don’t want them. Some are orphans with no relatives willing to help. 2. Parents are in jail and the children are left to fend for themselves. 3. Some were sexually abused. Others are in danger of being sold into prostitution. These children come from families who worship evil spirits and/or the ancestral spirits. When the children come to us they begin to learn about God, salvation, many accept Christ quickly. Others have serious emotional problems that must be worked through first. But God’s love draws them, most accept the Lord while living here and some even dedicate their lives to serve the Lord and go on to Bible school for. Because we were able to re-open this home on the Right, on the last short term trip some of these girls called upon the name of the Lord. We even had to add on a kitchen for one of the home because so many have been able to come and live with us!"
