Task Force

A Task Force is a group of abolitionists with one active purpose -end slavery wherever it exists.  This will not happen by random, uneducated, and unorganized efforts. It requires that abolitionists be a unified force. So, a Rescue1 Task Force is a group of people who align themselves with the mission and vision of Rescue1 to be both local and global ambassadors to end human trafficking. Task Force members agree to the following strategic principals:

EDUCATION
 –Though ongoing education, abolitionists will become Trafficking Specialists by learning:
  1. The history of slavery and the stories of abolitionists—past and present:
  2. The truths of both national and international trafficking
  3. How to spot the warning signs of victims and traffickers
  4. How pornography drives trafficking;
  5. the regional cultural elements contributing to trafficking
  6. The differences between “prostituted” and “prostituting” The varying tactics handlers use to lure victims
  7. How to get aid and protection to victims; and how to accept, counsel, and love victims to recovery
ACTIVATION – Become an activist of human trafficking through action:
  1. Prayer
  2. Plan Vision and Love Trips
  3. Inform others of the reality of local trafficking and the implications of global trafficking
  4. Recruit others (Sunday School class, cell/small group, neighborhood watch, bridge club, golf buddies, etc…) to join the fightConduct monthly meetings to raise awareness,
  5. celebrate the Rescued1,
  6. educate, and have the opportunity to meet ones who have been rescued first hand;
  7. Educate your community about the way traffickers, pimps, and handlers (trafficking middle-men) are no respecter of persons and recruit persons of any age, gender, color,and social status
  8. Attend local NGO’s, governmental events, cooperative efforts
DONATION – As abolitionists, our campaign cannot operate without funds.
  1. A R1TF will be responsible for raising annual funds to sustain and expand Prevention, Protection, and Correction efforts and off-set the cost of semi-annual Awareness, Celebration, and Action Gatherings;
  2. A TF can host fund-raising events;
  3. Celebrate those from within the TF going to serve in the Homes of Refuge for a short or long term;
  4. Choose a project to underwrite (e.g. “Christmas for the Least of These”);

kids rescue kids Task Force
A new program is “Kids Rescue Kids”, where Rescue1 can be your bridge to the world's enslaved children. As the children in your church give to change the lives of those enslaved, they will provide an education (not offered in the village areas) and the opportunity to live in a loving Christian, family home with a hope and a future. We believe your children will learn for value of giving and serving the nations and your people will be transformed as well. It is our goal to empower these children to become more than what their surroundings or circumstances dictate. Now, because of you they have the opportunity to experience the love of Christ and many have come to personally know Him.
