Rescue1
,a ministry of Compassionate Hope Foundation, is an Awareness and Action initiative designed to assist the Church and the global community to combat Human-Trafficking education and mobilization.

Human-Trafficking
is defined as the illegal enterprise of obtaining, holding, and selling of persons in “compelled services” for the expressed purpose of personal and/or, but not limited to, financial gain. It is a worldwide epidemic that is misunderstood, under-emphasized, and largely ignored; however, both national and international communities contribute to it knowingly and unknowingly through the commercial consumption of pornography, prostitution, drug transport, and human transport.

Human-trafficking is SLAVERY!

NO! Slavery did not end 150 years ago with the signing of The Emancipation Proclamation in 1863.  The proclamation did, however, set 3.1 million African Americans slaves free. By comparison, an estimated 27 - 30 million people are enslaved worldwide today.

Approximately 80% of human trafficking is allocated to forced prostitution.

40% of those trafficked in Southeast Asia will end up in America or Europe.
